Aleks Girshevich
Originally hailing from Tashkent, Uzbekistan, pre-teen Russian-American drummer and percussionist Aleks Girshevich has made a strong impression on the jazz scene in his hometown of Denver, CO. He has played multiple shows at world-class Dazzle jazz club, including a birthday show several years ago called “It’s great to be 8.” More recently, Aleks brought this trio to Dazzle, performing a sold-out opening set. His maturity and creativity on the bandstand are something to behold.
Vlad Girshevich
Also a native son of Tashkent, Vlad Girshevich studied classical piano for many years at the Uspensky School of Music. This refined background permeates Vlad’s playing, witnessed in his delicate touch, effortless phrasing and virtuosic command of the instrument. Vlad is also a prolific composer.
