Guitarist Alex Merck finished his studies at Berklee College of Music, Boston (1980-84) with a diploma. He was CEO of AMM Music Inc. (1992-2001), home of the labels Barracuda, Jazzline, Lipstick Records, and Satori. He also worked as a consultant, and as freelance author and translator.
