American saxophonist, born 2 May 1963 in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. Person played in the jazz band at Normandy Junior and Senior High and played around STL with the James Matthews Quartet when he was 15. After moving to New York he formed the band Meta-Four. He has performed with the likes of Dave Holland, Ben Harper, McCoy Tyner and Chico Hamilton.

Saxophonist Eric Person was born in St. Louis, MO, the son of local musician and businessman Thomas Person. A child prodigy, he began playing saxophone at age seven and had gained his first orchestral experience by the time he was in the fifth grade.
