Franklin Kiermyer, a fairly obscure drummer, burst on the scene in 1994 with his Evidence CD Solomon's Daughter, a remarkably intense quartet date that features Pharoah Sanders at his most ferocious. Kiermyer keeps up with the passion, making one wonder why he was not known before that date.
