Isabella Lundgren was born and raised in small town Karlstad, Sweden and then moved to New York city at the age of 18 to study music at the New School university for jazz and contemporary music. She quickly became a part of the citys musical scene and collaborated with a wide range of musicians, stretching from classical jazz to contemporary pop and blues. To mention a few: Gavin Degraw, Moby´s The little death, Woody Allens bandleader Eddy Davis, Dan Barrett, Fabrizio Sotti and Mino Cinuelo. She moved back to Sweden at the age of 23 where she released her debut album ”It had to be you” alongside pursuing her mastersdegree in Theology. Isabellas cd won great acclaim from both critics and the public and since then she has released four albums in Japan and yet another in Sweden.
