Try Believe by Scott Amendola. A great album with Nels.

Thank you! I will. I just checked out that label and I have "Draw Breath" already by the Nels Cline Singers. The rest of the label looks interesting.

You might want to give violinist Jeff Gauthier a listen. He owns Cryptogramophone Records for which Nels recorded several albums. His album Mask is excellent and features Nels.

I was introduced a month ago to the music of Nels Cline when my nephew took me to a Nels Cline 4 show in Seattle. I was floored. So impressed. I am a big jazz fusion fan - all things John McLaughlin, Al Di Meola, Chick Corea (all things), Ponty, Cobham, old Stanley Clarke, etc. Nels Cline is definitely carrying such a torch.
I immediately bought the new Nels Cline 4 album called "Currents, Constellations" and am equally pleased. Highly recommended! I also got one from a few years ago called "Draw Breath" by The Nels Cline Singers which is equally killer guitar based jazz rock fusion.
