Hello all! this is my first post and I would love some help in finding jazz that is reminiscent of early television or the opening of scenes in theater/television.
I'm looking for cool jazz that has a very dreamlike/hypnagogic/nostalgic feel to it, I understand these are somewhat abstract terms so any and all recommendations would be helpful. Stuff similar to what I'm looking for would be Take Five by The Dave Brubeck Quartet , Ballads by Coltrain, and Kind of Blue by Miles Davis
