Excellent and welcome to the site.
We're always looking for reasonably knowledgeable jazz fans who want to write reviews, so feel free to check out the review part of the individual album entries.

These are the first three albums that opened the way to jazz for me. Therefore, it is logical to put these performers in the first 3 places.

1. Chick Corea - 1971 - Return to Forever, 2. Weather Report - 1984 - Domino Theory, Miles Davis - 1969 - Bitches Brew.

Of course, like most people, I began to study all possible jazz-rock classics of the 70s, 80s, 90s. I would single out those performers who served for me as mentors. It was in the ' 90s.

4. Dave Holland - 1998 - Point of View, 5. John Abercrombie - 1994 - Speak of The Devil, 6. John Scofield - 1998 - A Go Go

Then, with the advent of the Internet, I had great opportunities. And since 2002, I've been getting super huge amounts of information into my head. From the vast store of knowledge about jazz it's hard for me to allocate the 4 remaining positions. I'll give them to more recent performers. Thanks to them I discovered new trends and genres in jazz music.

7. Aranis - 2012 - Made In Belgium, 8. Finnegans Wake - 2004 - 4th, 9. X-Legged Sally - 1991 - Slow Up, 10. Nik Barstch - 2008 - Holon

But these are certainly not all the names I would like to write. I could easily list at least 100 more names.

PS. Unfortunately my English is poor. I apologize in advance if my text is very difficult to read.
