Alright...
If you could make a lineup of players from any time era to play the track list of Kind of Blue, who would they be? Here's mine: Leader, Bass Clarinet: Eric Dolphy (with flute on an alternate take of Flamenco Sketches) Piano: McCoy Tyner Bass: Scott LaFaro Drums: Tony Williams Tenor Sax: Stan Getz Soprano Sax: Chris Potter My most questionable member is Scott LaFaro. I'm not sure how well he would compliment the rhythm section. |

Drums: Paul Motion
Bass: Steve Swallow Piano: Brad Mehldau Trumpet: Don Cherry Alto: Art Pepper Tenor: Wayne Shorter I went for a band that would play the tunes in a softer and more abstract style, but also tried to put together people who never, or rarely played together.
