Music Banter has banned a member for "self promotion." Since we are promoting a Japanese alphabet that will serve in the music world as an efficient form of communication, a promotional thread such as this one seems appropo. Jazz itself was born from innovation, and there are plenty of individuals involved. This alphabet will be freely available to everyone on earth, while making it easier for different language speakers to thwart the inherent dilemma of Asian scripts. For example, the Japanese people have never gotten to see what a consonant of theirs looks like standing on its own two feet (due to a syllabary) whilst their children are producing these sounds well before learning to read or write. We would welcome others to experiment with other forms of orthography for use in music, science, art and medicine.
The problematic can be put in other terms: when a tenor sax is played without activating any keys, what is produced is a concert b note (493.88 Hz), though this note will not be called a "b" by the naming pedagogue, and is reminiscent of Concert Pitch on My Tenor Sax.
