I think the problem with a lot of the fusion music is that it's extremely predictable, it's a rock rhythm and the solos all play the same stuff and they play it over and over again ...

Ralph Macdonald died by lung cancer in a hospital in New York on December 18. It was 67 years old. He competed with many musicians as percussion player. A contest with George Benson and David Bowie and Aretha Franklin. Or it is a contest with Quincy Jones and Carole King and Paul Simon and David Sanborn.
The song known to a listener well is "Just the Two of Us". This music was known very well and spread among the listeners. I express condolence.
