Where does Romanticism fit within jazz music?

The jazz fan on the other side

Why isn't jazz popular?

Does jazz refer to music style or stucture?

What makes people find jazz boring?

Yknow, I actually always felt the 90s was the worst decade for jazz, the 80s had a lot of good stuff (unfortunately also the height of smooth jazz). The 2000s saw jazz pick up its feet somewhere towards the middle of the decade (from my perspective) and right now the future of jazz is uncertain (as it always has been)

but maybe this is the wrong thread to even bring this up Clown

Perhaps LOL

I think the sudden burst of activity on these forums has gotten me excited. Can't jump the gun Tongue
