Brad Mehldau is OK too, I liked better some of his previous albums
I think the problem with a lot of the fusion music is that it's extremely predictable, it's a rock rhythm and the solos all play the same stuff and they play it over and over again ...

Didn't listen all mentioned albums, Vijay Iyer's isn't bad but he has better works IMO, and it's nice to see so complex album as Matthew Shepp's on the list  Smile
