I know it's just a case of not having had time to go through the live album section yet, but I'll suggest anyway that http://www.jazzmusicarchives.com/john-coltrane--the-olatunji-concert-the-last-live-recording(live).aspx this album be moved to avant-garde jazz. It's an extremely chaotic, free form and even violent burst of collective mayhem.
