This was an "all-stars" band of contemporary Romanian jazz of the 90s and 00s. Also, the album featuring the sample bellow was my first jazz album ever.  The material they played was half Miles, Mingus, Duke, etc., half their own compositions.

I couldn't find more samples, but this is 100% representative of what they were doing:
