Hi,

Been adding more stuff here on JMA as I am pretty much cutting down my time on PA.

There are several reasons, and one of the biggest is the high school drumming and work for so many bands listed and numbered in various this and that ... it just took the appreciation out for me, as it has become a sort of top ten thing there, and not at all progressive anymore ... on top of the fact that folks there think it makes things progressive if you so much as mention YES, and JETHRO TULL.

It's still a good place. Not great.

I have been, for many years a "foreign film" reviewer (over 600 in my website) and a lot of music reviews, that I have to organize on my website ... especially now that I have added some jazz related reviews, and I wanted them to be more visible. I'm working on a lot of reviews, especially those of albums that do not have any showing at this time. I have started with Terje Rypdal, Egberto Gismonti and am now working on Jan Garbarek ... and I will add more reviews for the first two, as well ... but those three, are, sort of, the stuff I enjoy the most on ECM, though there are many others that I hope to get to.

At this time, I am making myself more aware of so much new stuff and very well listed on this website, and (for once) not numbered. I like that is is kinda listed as it arrives ... makes the music more important for me.

There are way too many threads for me, and I will get to some of them in the next several months, with a week or so when I have to move and hopefully end up feeling settled again.
