Prince fans will get a rare behind-the-scenes look at his legendary Paisley Park studio in Chanhassen, Minnesota, Tuesday during a live stream on the Live Nation channel on Yahoo. The exclusive PLECTRUMELECTRUMARTOFFICALAGE album release party will launch at 7:30 p.m. PT and celebrate two separate projects out Tuesday, Prince's solo offering, ART OFFICIAL AGE, and his band 3RDEYEGIRL's PLECTRUMELECTRUM.

The Paisley Park studio tour is a rare look at the $10 million, 65,000 square foot recording facility where Prince regularly hosts events and recorded albums Love Sexy, the Batman soundtrack, andDiamonds and Pearls, among more than two dozen other sets. In fact, he has been so selective about the space being photographed that there are no widely distributed photos or video from thePurple Rain 30th anniversary concert he held there in June, despite a first time appearance by Apollonia, the film's co-star and Apollonia 6 frontwoman. According to Rolling Stone, cameras and cell phones also were not allowed inside the complex last October when Prince hosted another concert.

Though Prince wrote the songs for both albums, the sounds are distinct. ART OFFICIAL AGE, a classic, R&B-driven, Prince solo record, was produced, arranged, and performed by the artist and Joshua Welton. Several of the songs were previewed online – the pulsating and funky "Breakfast Can Wait," slow grinds "Breakdown," "Clouds," and "This Could Be Us," plus the percolating, booming hip-hop offering "Funknroll."

PLECTRUMLECTRUM fuses Prince's and 3RDEYEGIRL's funk and rock sensibilities. Some of the songs were featured on Prince's "Hit and Run" tour and have surfaced on the Internet. 3RDEYEGIRL members – guitarist Donna Grantis, bassist Ida Nielsen, and drummer Hannah Ford Welton – play hard, aggressive rock on "FixUrLifeUp," "PRETZELBODYLOGIC," and the ballad "White Caps."

Prince sought 3RDEYEGIRL's creative input on PLECTRUMELECTRUM. "When he brings a song in to the three of us, he'll tell us what the chords are, but, in general, he's looking for us to arrange it," Grantis told Yahoo Music. "He wants to hear [what I can do on guitar], he wants to hear Hannah add a real cool drum groove, and the same with Ida playing a super funky bass line."

Prince assembled 3RDEYEGIRL in late 2012.
