Piedmont Jazz Initiative is a Jazz community and Radio station and we are focused on delivering the true culture and art form of Jazz Music. Often times, when people say they're having a Jazz event, there's more of other genres of music and a sprinkle of Jazz says Demetrius L. Brown, founder of Piedmont Jazz Initiative. Along with his partner Albert Eubanks, the main goal of Piedmont Jazz Initiative is to rebuild the the trust in the Jazz community where they can go to truly enjoy that art form and intertwine with other Jazz enthusiasts. Based out of Durham NC, Piedmont Jazz Initiative is reaching people worldwide with certified listenership in 11 countries. The vision of Piedmont Jazz Initiative is to be the premier Jazz organization in the Triangle, Piedmont Triad, and surrounding areas that connects the artist with the people through events that will allow the audience to engage the artist up close and personal. We are a piece of the puzzle that helps unsigned artists reach the next big break in their careers and financially enhance the communities that makes up the Triangle, Piedmont Triad, and surrounding areas through events that will not only attracts the local Jazz community, but the national Jazz community.
