Goldmine also has some specialty books that cover just jazz.

Pre WWW I used GM for all my record needs via 1800 stores. I have 3 boxes of the originals stored? Hmm... I need to check for an online version. Thank you for the reminder

Record collecting books are your best bet, and Goldmine is usually considered the best.
I have several of their books, but I would imagine they are online now too.

I am collecting several 60's artists, Miles is one. However, I have purchased what looked to be so called 1st Ed only to find out the seller assumed it was via the catalog number only and not the labels. This is a difficult task for the casual seller and buyer. I feel the 1st pressings in M or M- are the best to my ears.
Master is cleaner in the first pressings.
Is there anyone who has a favorite method or site to double check on ANY jazz 1st editions? Dicsogs is okay and London Jazz Collector.... EBay Example: Edited by Peaceful World 33/3 - 10 Oct 2015 at 3:16pm |
