If not for avant-garde jazz they'll fit nicely in Jazz related improvisation, either/or.

I'm kind of mixed...the first track was almost a bit too sparse for my liking. The second was better.

New band with one album out (I found them in AllMusic's top of 2010 jazz albums). Harp lead improv/psychedelic/drone/electroacoustic/free jazz. In a word, avantgarde.
