Jazz Giants. He had done the concert in Japan before. I missed it by the work-related matter. If it visits Japan again, I want to see. |

The Melb Jazz festival is shaping up to be a top notch showing, Ron Carter, Sun Ra's Arkestra, Lee Konitz, Faust, list goes on. The coinciding Underground festival has a pretty respectable line-up too. Unfortunately I think there are going to be clashes with work...

I am off to see the saxophone giant ( amongst the giants) in June at the Melbourne Jazz festival. Never seen him before. Hope he plays" I'm an Old Cowhand". Also have His Bobness and B.B. King. Seen very Australian tour by Dylan except the first in 1966 ( To young, mum would not let me go ) and B.B the last time I saw him I was 15 in 1974. Lucille will be shooting out those Blue Chords April around Easter for those two. |
