We need a new Poll..........Just ghosts, so no Exorcist, Rosemary's Baby or Omen they are the old devil. Maybe the next Poll could be Possesions or Zombies or Slashers or just plain bloody sick

The Shining for me Matt. Even if the ghost element isn't as big as in some of the others listed, it's still one of the best-made films up there so I'm going with old Kubrick.

Before I nick off for the day I went for "Woman In Black", just a tele movie but spooky sh*t. I believe Hammer is doing or has done a remake. I know the original is good. Great little twisted yarn

Ya forgot Ghostbusters
The Shining is my fave, but since Poltergeist didn't have a vote...
Lots of these I never saw or heard about, though!

There's a TV mini-series, more faithful to the book and full of ghosts: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118460/ |

Saw one recently that was good and did not mention called The Echo.
My daughter saw a new one at the film festival here a couple of weeks ago called The Innkeepers and gave it the thumbs up. Said it was good and different.

I've not actually seen The Grudge, I just remembered seeing commercials for it. I am mostly too chicken for ghost stories, although I do partake from time to time. |
