Hi,

I'm not a great fan of Spotify ... I can appreciate them immediately wanting us to sign up so the artist can benefit, but the day that a band "makes it" (big time, too!!!) from a site like Spotify, I will sign up.

The sad part is that, as a listener, I won't be able to hear it ... not that I am, or feel, any different than any  others ... I just work as a reviewer, of a lot of music and film, and have done so for 30 years, instead of overnight like so many podcasts. 

For me, it's all about the art. And I appreciate the free places where we can hear some tings ... I will not, and have not, EVER, cheated and not purchased something when I could. As I age, the ability to purchase things diminish and my ability to feel and see the arts, goes downhill. I don't know that I am helping the arts, but I sincerely doubt that I am hurting them!
