Brad Mehldau is back with another brilliant mix of modern jazz and instrumental art pop. On this track, "Spiral", you might get the impression Brad has been listening to some Craig Taborn.

Somewhere in between the worlds of Don Ellis, Snarky Puppy, early Jagga Jazzist and 60's Quincey Jones you may find the mini-orchestra arrangements of Ratatet. If you've been thinking the jazz world needs more bassoon, this may be the band for you.
