Thanks Mandy, thats the second time this band has been suggested and we will add them someday, but here's the problem.
This site is not yet attracting jazz fans from the internet, mostly fusion fans from pre-existing rock sites. We really need to establish this site's identity as a jazz site before we add more high profile rock stars who are not entirely essential at this time. |

You may have misunderstood me, I love fusion, fusion is not the problem.
Having a high profile rock star like Ian Gillan on the front page will not help us attract jazz fans, it makes us look like some sort of confused off-shoot of a rock site. Lets build this site up by attracting jazz fans, then we will add the rock stars later.

I have nothing against this decision. I agree very well. Only IGB is one of my preferred bands...
Uh... I want to know how to behave in the case of Jeff Beck's pre Fusion albums/ compilations or Colosseum II alnums... How to put these albums? And... You see Bodan Arsowski thread!!! Edited by 1967/ 1976 - 13 May 2011 at 1:13am |

Early Jeff Beck goes in Jazz Related Rock, so does Colosseum I or II.

Because Colosseum has already been added, I think that Colosseum II may be added there.

Personalkly, I find that IGB barely fusiony, especially when compatred to English contemporary Colosseum II etc.......
if it should be included some while later (now would be too soon for the reasons evoked above), it should be in Jazz-related Rock at best...

Uhm... Colosseum II are Fusion... IGB... I listened to "Child In Time ". And yes, it would be better to consider IGB Jazz related Rock, Also if Fusion is non a bad place.
