Very nice Guigo, I used to play "How Insensitive" in a exotica/lounge duo with a friend of mine.

Thank you for sharing this video though a little too late. I was impressed to see this. The fusion of a samba and the funk. A bond and the pleasure of the people for carnivals are shared. There is not such the splendid carnival in Japan.

Thanks Kazuhiro  and yes, it happened in 2011 and it'll happen again in 2012, 13, 14....This is the environment I've been soaked since I was born and maybe it's just the real meaning of the word "jazz": improvisation, criativity, happiness, madness and the very mix of cultures and manners. Free from prejudice the human being will meet felicity IMHO.

Thank you for sharing a video of MPB4. I was not familiar with them very much. However, those videos were wonderful. As for the live broadcasting of 2008 in particular, I still see them energetically. And they evolved.
I remember MPB4 and Quarteto Em Cy as vocal group, but are those groups still known well? I still think that it should be loved for a listener and a fan. |
