January 8, 2012 ... cloudy and a bit cold outside in Osaka, Japan, but at Sankaku Park (Shinsaibashi American Village) it was very hot and enthusiastic. DJAMRA played two songs upon the special (free) stage (named "Ribiarise") in front of Sankaku Park ... where were lots of fans and passers-by.

The audience had got much wilder by their coming up and playing suddenly upon Ribiarise, the upstairs stage.

Actually a bit concerned whether they could go well because they'd lost Akira, a veteran guitarist last yearend, but fortunately I've felt they play more smartly and more flexibly.

Playing in a majestic manner!

Shinji KITAMURA (alto saxophone)

Sayaka KAWADA (trumpet)

Takehiro FUKUDA (keyboards)

Akihiro ENOMOTO (drums, percussion)

Masaharu NAKAKITA (bass) ... the ahonoko proud leader of DJAMRA

Under such a fantastic atmosphere (a bit cold though), they'd played two songs.

1. Time Flies Like An Arrow (Are Ni Tsuite)
2. Komurakaeri (Leg Cramps)

Sayaka and Shinji ... two fantastic (and sharp-edged) front man/woman.

After playing, they got an interview by the stage master of Ribiarise.

Masaharu's black jokes flooded as usual ... what a hoot.

Very peaceful, safe and sound, contrary to their aggressive play.

Their newest album "Circle Of Circus" recommended by Akihiro, who had drawn the delightful sleeve amazingly!

Thank you for reading my report about DJAMRA at Shinsaibashi American Village. ٩(̾●̮̮̃̾•̃̾)۶

Thank you for sharing this. It looks interesting that a stage is on the second floor. The music sent to from the west of Japan has originality and is interesting. They will push on with or without a guitar player.
