In your opinion, which superb album out there - either only available as 2nd hand LP, deleted or simply in need of a remaster and some bonus tracks etc etc etc- most deserves a reissue?

For me, it's this from Don Burrows - a soundtrack to an Australian film that didn't do so well. I've seen someone online trying to sell a mint' condition 2nd hand LP for around $200 AU - annoying and still too rich for me, luckily Don is friends with my school's music director.    It's a great album, one of my fav jazz albums - soundtracks or otherwise. Nearly made my last top ten, and will doubtless do so in the future.

Gee, Don has been around a long time.

Mine is Jackie McLean's  "High Frequency"

Blue Note only ever reissued it in the Mosaic box set

It is the only Blue Note session I do not have of his. Not even Japan has done a reissue.

Maybe the reason is it his worst album out there but I still want it. LOL badly

Yes. Japan is not sold about this album now, too. In addition, the album which I remembered immediately included "Sky Dive" of Freddie Hubberd. Japanese Amazon displayed it as 3 dollars.

Or "The Phantom" of Duke Pearson was approximately 150 dollars. These albums have to wait for rerelease. I wait for many albums of Gabor Szabo personally.

Neil Ardley's Symphony of Amaranths

Ardley's brilliant 'Le Dejeuner Sur L'Herbe' done under the New Jazz Orchestra name)

Both are stunning albums... badly needing Cd reissues (never done to my knowledge)

As mentioned above - this one

Available as an mp3 download from US Amazon, but that's not quite what I'm after (nor can I download it from Amazon as an international customer.) Oh well, patience, patience, patience
