Despite his tendency to use Johnny Depp over and over, and a visual style that bugs some people, I like a lot of his films. What are your thoughts?

Beetlejuice for me!

Haven't seen all movies, but probably biggest impresion till now is still Beetlejuice. Mars Attacks was kind of disappointment....

Big Fish
I think the problem with a lot of the fusion music is that it's extremely predictable, it's a rock rhythm and the solos all play the same stuff and they play it over and over again ...

Slava, can you recall what was unsatisfying about Mars Attacks? I still haven't seen it yet.

In its time I was waited "Mars Attacks!" as one more movie with Jack Nicholson  (my beloved actor) but when I got the chance to watch it (at very first possibility) I found out it's just another comics-remake Hollywood product, made on the wave of popularity of such films, enough raw, but cooked straight for the moment (and it's not like I don't like that genre - first Batman with Nicholson as Jocker is great work for me till now). Watched "Mars..." a few more times later but have never been impressed again Confused

The fact that Jack was in it made me think I'd like to watch it too, but I'd heard mixed reviews about the movie so I wasn't sure. Maybe I'll give it a miss.

The Shining is one of Jack's best movements, but I love his joker too
