Ezra Collective have shared exuberant new single ‘Streets Is Calling’.

The Mercury winning jazz troupe are having a golden summer, recently packing out All Points East for a very special performance. Bringing their wonderful, multi-faceted sound to the nation – and beyond – the group are charging down the barriers.

New album ‘Dance, No One’s Watching’ is out on September 27th, and the latest preview is now online.

Out now, ‘Streets Is Calling’ merges some core Ezra Collective influences – highlife, for example – with some more modern beats, such as a tinge of amapiano and some cutting edge afrobeats aspects.

It’s a potent brew, with Ezra somehow communicating this in a way that promotes clarity. Joined by M.anifest and Moonchild Sanelly, ‘Streets Is Calling’ has its sights set on the club, with drummer Femi Koleoso commenting…

‘Streets Is Calling’ is about the feeling when people call you up and message you and say, yo, there’s this party happening tonight and that’s all you need. The Streets have called. We’re gonna go straight to this dancefloor to make it our own.

Tune in now.
