   Wynton Marsalis/JLCO to Play Monk’s Music in NYC

        Piano prodigy Joey Alexander will be special guest

      The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis will 
perform the music of Thelonious Monk on Oct. 23 and 24 at the Town Hall 
in New York City. The orchestra will be joined by 12-year-old pianist 
Joey Alexander to perform big band arrangements of classic Monk tunes, 
including “Light Blue,” “We See,” “Skippy” and “Monk’s Mood.”

 or via CenterCharge at 212-721-6500. Tickets can also be purchased at 
the Jazz at Lincoln Center Box Office, located on Broadway at 60th 
Street, ground floor.
