	The current Pioneer CD players and mixers are ridiculously over-priced. About six grand for the set. I have two Pioneer CDJ 1000 MK 3 CD players. They are all you need. There is no need for the Disneyland color screen on the CDJ 2000 family. Likewise, my DJM 700 mixer can do anything that I need. I am in the U.K. The local branch of Pioneer has a very bad attitude. It can be summed up with the Simpsons' phrase "If I break, get a new one.". They don't care about anything. I happen to know the U.K. Pioneer promoter (who is an excellent DJ) I got a pair of their DJH 2000 headphones. These have excellent sound, but the band that goes over the head is made from easily snapped plastic, and mine broke. I have a pair of their headphones from 1968, and they used metal bands and so the headphones can still be used. Considering that the DJH 2000s cost about $260, it is scandalous that they don't have metal bands. There is a new model now, costing even more. Pioneer's DJH 1000 headphones also sounded great, but the band on those snaps right off after about a year, and the break cannot be repaired. Avoid the 1000s!
