New Simon & Garfunkel EP Celebrates 50th Anniversary of Iconic Album: Legacy Recordings, the catalog division of Sony Music Entertainment, celebrated the 50th anniversary of the iconic Simon & Garfunkel’s fifth and final studio album, Bridge Over Troubled Water, by releasing a new EP, Simon & Garfunkel – Live at Carnegie Hall 1969. The EP was made available via streaming only on January 26 and features unreleased recordings of four songs from the iconic LP – “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” “The Boxer,” “So Long, Frank Lloyd Wright” and “Song for the Asking” – captured during a two-night run at New York’s Carnegie Hall, two months before Bridge Over Troubled Water‘s original release on January 26, 1970. from www.jazziz.com Edited by snobb - 03 Feb 2020 at 9:07am |
