I think the problem with a lot of the fusion music is that it's extremely predictable, it's a rock rhythm and the solos all play the same stuff and they play it over and over again ...

I found samples somewhere, Corea's website probably. I didn't hear a lot, but what I heard was modern fusion with a post bop influence. Sort of similar to McLaughlin's latest music.

Sounds interesting. The cover looks like a reprise of the Romantic Warrior cover. Modern fusion with a dash of post-bop? Count me in.
