Trovante [Portugal] for Fusion / Pop/Art Song/Folk

Trovante were a Portuguese band formed in 1976 by drummer João Nuno Represas, lead singer Luís Represas, guitarist João Gil, keyboardist Manuel Faria, and saxophonist Artur Costa. From 1977 to 1990, they released eight studio albums and one live album, finally disbanding in 1992. The band reunited in 1999 for a reunion concert, resulting in a second live album.

Their early albums can be classified as a mix of jazz, folk music, and prog, later transitioning into more straightforward pop-rock/jazz-pop territory.

Albums:
1977 - Chão Nosso
1978 - Em Nome da Vida
1981 - Baile no Bosque
1983 - Cais das Colinas
1984 - 84
1986 - Sepes
1988 - Ao Vivo no Campo Pequeno [live album]
1987 - Terra Firme
1990 - Um Destes Dias
1999 - Uma Noite Só [live album]
2003 - Aula Magna 1983 [live album]
