Thank you! I was about to start believing nobody remembered him! I would like to recommend Shem-Tov Levy: he can play anything from rock to jazz, pop and world music and give his own style to the music (while being an excellent pianist and singer as well) |

I think the problem with a lot of the fusion music is that it's extremely predictable, it's a rock rhythm and the solos all play the same stuff and they play it over and over again ...

I, myself played flute on some big band song and it works perfectly. I always tought that flute was a fully assimilated jazz instrument as well as a classical music instrument.
