   Welbourne Jazz Camp - Adult Traditional Jazz Music & Dance Camp

Middleburg, VA
August 7th - 24th, 2016

Every August, a small group of some of the finest jazz players and dancers from New Orleans travel up to beautiful countryside located an hour outside DC to teach small batches of adult students how to fine tune their crafts, whether it's playing music or dancing to it. Musicians and dancers come from around the world to partake in the camp, from the most newbie-skilled to the most advanced performer.

One of the reasons the camp is so loved is that its instructors are not only extremely helpful and encouraging, but are well-versed in playing trad jazz to live, dancing audiences night after night (and for years) which have shaped them into the band-leading, skilled, entertaining professionals they are today.  They're an impressive bunch who truly knows what it means to play trad jazz professionally, and with heart.

Students can choose either the music or dance tracks OR both! The accommodations are more than impressive, the food is healthy and delicious, the staff is warm and knowledgable.
