This Dutch band (http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=1321) has been very good to rearrange in a rock compositions of classical music.
Not for the presence of the horn section, but for the final result, very close to the concept of Jazz music, I think Ekseption is a band that deserves to get in JMA.

I used to own an Ekseption record, as I recall is was a progressive rock record with not much, if any, jazz or fusion that I recall. Do you have an example of Ekseption playing jazz or fusion?

I am not to be the first to associate Ekseption and Jazz. In my opinion, there is great confusion in the catalog the style of this band: Jazz Rock, Neo Classical Rock, Progressive Rock, Symphonic Rock... Every site that I checked (more or less) lists in a different way this band. But, in a correct way, also Deep Purple have wrote Rock Jazz songs... Ekseption, vice versa, is a Progressive band (that is clear to me ... I do not argue) but in my view Ekseption not plays a simple Rock. The arrangements are not Rock and with careful listening, Ekseption music has much in common with Jazz.
In http://members.home.nl/ekseption/ is present a good Download section. Clearly if Ekseption should be included in JMA would just like Jazz related Rock ... Or rather Rock related Jazz.
Now I leave to you to decide.
