Im not only a newbie here, im also fearly newbie in terms of jazz, but as a bass guitarist, I have to keep an eye on this genre as well. im not well traveld in old shool jazz. more into fusion, swing, jazz rock and funky jazz
I like mostly the popular stuff, but I do somee peaking in the jazz sections at CD stores

but I like to go on jazz koncert and have seen so many good jazz concert,

Splendid taste. I suggest you to try some albums by John Coltrane from the 60's and by the Esbjörn Svensson Trio. -------------
