I may have forgotten a biggie or two (I'm not infaillible).... don't hesitate to tell me so I can add them before you vote

my music collection increased tenfolds when I switched from drug-addicted musicians to crazy ones....

Blue Note and Impulse! are hard to go by, but I guess Columbia are going to get my vote, their output is indeed considerable

I think Columbia is predominant in my jazz collection. Big smile  A far second though after ECM which only got started in '69 so doesn't qualify.

Columbia is definitely dominant in my 70's collection... They really specialized in JR/F in that decade and had almost all JR/F groups... If I were to make a 70's poll, I will definitely thiink about including some non-US labels (Vocallion, ECM, etc...)

I find that Prestige was fighting a rear-gard battle in the 60's (even if they had incredible UFOs like Holy Modal Roub-nders in their catak-logues), while Impulse was definitely the groundbreaking

Unsurprisingly, I went for Impulse!

I think I have more 60s albums under Blue Note label, so I chose that.

At a glace I seem to have more Blue Note than anything else.  Probably because of my bop-love
