JMA is up Approve

It is our beloved Brian/JJ/Angry Scotsman here with another alias.
I plan to mainly lurk this site and pick up new albums and artists.

I have long loved jazz, but know little of it. I always felt overwhelmed getting into it. But I hope this site can really help me, just as PA did with prog.

I had no clue what improv room or JMA was. Then it hit me haha
I am so glad, my knowledge with rock (of all kinds) has grown more than I could've imagined, very much so due to PA. Jazz is a whole new world!

I like jazz, love listening to it on the radio but I don't know/have much. All I know are the big works by big names. Miles famous albums, Duke Ellington, Charles Mingus, Monk, and of course one of my favorite musicians Al di Meola. As a drummer I also am a fan of Buddy Rich, of course, Max Roach and Tony Oxley (for the avant side of me).

I seem to like it all from "regular" jazz to free/avant stuff. Fusion, classic stuff.
So yeah, I'm ready to go.

Considering this is a Jazz Site, I think this alias is the most fitting one yet!

Yes, I get less esoteric every time LOL
