Hi all,

we've a made a jazz music sheet search directory. Feel free to promote it to friends and jazz aficionados as we're curently testing the idea. We'd appreciate it if you'd report back any bugs.
It can be found here: http://www.resoldo.com.ar

If you feel like helping expand the music database, contact us and we'll explain how to create a simple Excel sheet so we can incorporate your data as well.

It currently contains the following jazz real books:

I don't really see the need. If I want to play a piece, I write it down off the record. That also makes sure that the item is in the right key. A good ear will let you play a piece from memory, unless the arrangement is complex.

Miles used Red Garland for that, because Red kept a book of tunes and knew the changes to all of them. Miles wasn't  always right, either. He recorded "Straight No Chaser" (in 1958) in F, but it is really in Bb.
