I listened to much less jazz in 2009 than in 2010 but since the 2010 thead was a success I thought we can give it a try.

Out of those, only heard Led Bib and Zu.  Both would definitely be in my tops.  I'd also mention Zorn's O'o; have to think of what else

PJ Perry's Nota Bene is really good.

Edit: yep, just listening to it again and it's wonderful

I started to listen to A Brahem with "Astrakan Cafe" and somehow it stuck with me, IMO it's his most "authentic" music, in later albums his music gets less ethnic.
Le Pas Du Chat Noir and Contes D'Incroyable Amour are very good ones
His best collaboration is Thimar which I consider a must
Also Madar with Garbarek is good.
