We would like to invite you to the live streaming of our two opening concerts this year: Hedvig Mollestad Trio on Friday January 22 and a solo concert with Håkon Kornstad the next night, both start at 21.00 CET. Nasjonal jazzscene in Oslo is in lock down like all other jazz clubs in Europe, and the world? But our aim is to reach the audience with modern and exciting jazz music, and the two artists we had booked to open the Spring season was too good for to miss!

This past year Hedvig Mollestad has received a large number of rave reviews for her album "Ekhidna", and the record has also appeared on many annual "best of" lists. Both jazz and rock critics have embraced the album and you can find it on DownBeat Magazine's "25 For the Future" list, as well as lists in the Jazz Trail, The New York City Jazz Record, Prog Magazine, http://thebluemoment.com/" rel="nofollow - thebluemoment.com and many more! The trio has been in the studio this Autumn and will release their new record on the renowned label Rune Grammofon in March. On Friday January 22 you'll hear both new songs and nuggets from Hedvig Mollestad Trios increasingly comprehensive catalog.
Håkon Kornstad recently released his solo album "Out Of The Loop", with the title sampling the feeling the close down gave Kornstad. The saxophonist and singer was also one of the first to embrace the concept of streaming concerts from home, and did several self-produced performances of very high quality, Håkon does not do things half ways! Now it is the Nasjonal jazzscene that will take care of the sound and images and Håkon can concentrate on what he knows best; to sing and play beautiful music straight to your heart!
