these are the albums:
Satoko Fujii and Tatsuya Yoshida - Erans
Heliocentrics and Mulatu Astatke - Insperation Information

Thanks!

Only four albums added so far to Fujii, so it's clearly incomplete at this point.

^^^
thats what I assumed I think the same for Astatke?

coupe o' questions

Is adding albums the same as PA where anyone can do it?

If I add the Heliocentrics Astatke album do I put it in world jazz (where astatke is) or jazz related improvisation (where the heliocentrics are) or both? How does the multiple genre tags work in genral here as compared to PA?

Every member can add albums on JMA. The main rule for collaborations is the album should be added under the artist's name who is mentioned first in collaboration

Sounds good! I will see if I have time to go add those once I get home from work!

That was one my main worries for the databse.... a lot of these collabs were one-shots and finding a spot for them might cause worries
: under whose discography and if not its own entry

ex: Love devotion Surrender: Carlos, McL or its own entry????

Should we add Masqualero or add the albums under Arild Andersen as collaborations?

-------------
I think the problem with a lot of the fusion music is that it's extremely predictable, it's a rock rhythm and the solos all play the same stuff and they play it over and over again ...

Masqualero have at least four albums under their nameand their music is quite characteristic - not same as Arild Andersen's solo works.I think they could have own entry

Slava just told you, it goes under the artist listed first.
