Allan Holdsworth has a totally unique style in electric guitar being that it is based on unusual scale patterns and numbers. His technique is highly irregular and not in the mainstream of jazz. I find his music very refreshing and innovative. He is a master in improvisation and chordal harmony. Well worth a deep investigation if one is inclined.
