These are some excellent lists.
 
I'm most inclined to agree with the customers one though.
 
This has probably been my favorite year for jazz since I've started paying attention to music.

I know about 80% of above mentioned artists but am familiar with less than 50% of albums  from the lists. Based on what I heard I could agree that these lists are really representative speaking about free jazz/free improvs/avant-rock (but not about ALL 2014 jazz releases) Smile

Squidco does base itself on the more experimental fringes so I'd imagine most "normal" jazz doesn't get covered/sold there.
