Tony Roc Adamo is a modern day hipster, talking his lyrics as much as singing them and acting out the words of the stories he creates. He loves to groove and swing in his own way above the instrumentalists. On this version of his “Rain Man,” Adamo is accompanied and inspired by the keyboards and production of Roger Smith (of Tower and Power) and the drumming of Kyron “K-Frost” Kirby.

“Rain Man” deals with the end of a love affair and has a plea for the Rain Man to make it rain love his way. Over the infectious and funky rhythms, Tony Roc Adamo puts plenty of emotion into the story but there is also a joyful and optimistic feeling.
