I'm not really sure how much this is jazz news: jazz has always had a token presence at the Grammys and really only served to tell people who actually like jazz who to avoid listening to (Yes, I include Bela Fleck in that assessment. :| ). The fact that they're eliminating the large jazz ensemble and latin jazz awards does not seem to matter. |
