Inspired by John's poll from November of '22, I decided to go for it and post this one.
Trivia point: All three were, at one time or another, preferred collaborators of David Sylvian. If you know of any other musicians who used their trumpets in an "unusual" way, I'd love to hear about them!

Kenny Wheeler is my choice here. There's many albums I could mention, but Double Double You (1984) is my favorite.
